Get ready for Verifactu before it becomes mandatory
Electronic invoicing will become mandatory in Spain. Utilia OS is designed to comply with Verifactu and the Crea y Crece Law from day one.
What is Verifactu and why it affects you
Chained cryptographic hash
Each invoice generates a unique digital fingerprint linked to the previous one. Impossible to alter a record without breaking the entire chain.
AEAT registration
Automatic and immediate submission of each invoice to the Spanish Tax Agency.
Verifiable QR code
Each invoice includes a QR code that allows instant authenticity verification.
How Utilia OS complies
It's not a patch or an add-on module. Regulatory compliance is built into the core of the invoicing system.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Starting July 2027, all freelancers using invoicing software will need to use a Verifactu-compatible program.
Spreadsheets cannot meet Verifactu requirements (chained hash, immutable ledger, AEAT submission). If you invoice with Excel, you'll need to migrate to compatible software.
If you use software that doesn't comply with regulations after the established deadlines, you face fines of up to 50,000 euros per fiscal year.
Utilia OS is being developed following the technical specifications published by the Spanish Tax Agency, including hash generation, record chaining, AEAT submission, and verifiable QR code.
